I am a graduate student at the University of Illinois, Urbana, studying digital rhetorics. I am interested in questions of assemblage, affect, network, and circulation in digital and social media contexts.

My current work examines how users on Twitter users respond to, make sense of, and articulate political identities in the wake of terrorist events. In order to read this network of tweets, I’m drawing heavily from research in the Digital Humanities and learning how to code.

Originally from Washington State by way of Willamette University in Oregon.
